Olivia Exstrum

Olivia Exstrum is an award-winning writer and editor based in Brooklyn. She currently works as an editor at Codeword, a boutique marketing agency, and previously reported at Mother Jones in San Francisco. 

 

Her work has appeared in publications from Chicago to Johannesburg. She graduated in 2017 from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

Olivia grew up in a small town in Nebraska. Before moving to New York City, she lived in southwestern Colorado. ​​
