Olivia Exstrum

I'm an award-winning writer and editor based in Brooklyn. Most recently, I was an editor at Codeword, a boutique marketing agency.

 

From 2017 to 2019, I reported at Mother Jones in San Francisco. My work has appeared in publications from Chicago to Johannesburg. I graduated in 2017 from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.

I grew up in a small town in Nebraska. Before moving to New York City, I lived in southwestern Colorado. ​​
